Today is Earth Day! It is celebrated every year on April 22nd, and this year marks 50 years of celebrating in Canada. Earth Day is all about taking the time to celebrate the planet we live on and to think about the ways we can take take care of it. One great way to do this is to reduce, reuse, and recycle!
I have included some stories, activities, and initiatives below that will help you to celebrate Earth Day!
Happy Earth Day! Introducing Earth School.
In response to the COVID-19, many organizations have come together to launch Earth School, which provides free, high-quality educational content to help students, parents, and teachers around the world who are currently at home. Initiated by UN Environment Programme and TED-Ed in collaboration with many incredible partners, Earth School brings together a 30-day adventure through the natural world.
